With a background in studio ceramics, SilverKing’s progression into silversmithing was something of an inevitability: a fascination with the transformative power of fire and heat on clay has carried across into silver. This is seen in the use of reticulation, granulation, drop casting and fusing techniques in the creative process; previous work with glazes now finds expression in the vibrant use of colour through semi-precious stones, sea glass and pottery.


The collection is a really individual offering of 925 Sterling Silver jewellery pieces: repetition and replication are avoided at all costs and the techniques used lend themselves very well to this. Even semi-precious beaded necklaces are deliberately strung with randomly positioned colour inclusions and silver beads, finished with handmade silver toggles and catches.
